Danish Centenary Peace Gift - 25 Schools in Angola
Posted on March 6, 2008 by Aleš
As a peace gift, the scouts in Denmark were tasked to raise funds for schools in Angola during the year 2007. The aim was 100 schools – or one per local community. It was not all scout units that participated wholeheartedly.
But it was clearly proved that the successful communities were those with a close cooperation between scout groups and local Fellowships. Many individual fellowship members served as mates, bankers and logistic anchors.
We succeeded to raise funds for 25 schools.

That is a good news, a great sucess story,
I think an African NSGF should also plan something for an European NSGF
What about that….
What? Please continue. I am sure that Africa has a lot to offer Europe.
Hello,
The Greater Accra region of the Ghana NSGF is embarking on a Publicity and membership campaign,
Has any body got a publicity material to help us?
Please contact us on princejeddy@yahoo.com
Looking forward for the support of all.
Thank you.

I believe that many NSGFs are working on a membership campaign. It is also on the agenda for the Nordic-Baltic Subregion meeting 31. May.
Probably we should open an “idea-bank” for PR and membership material and ideas.
Increasing membership with 100 % does not mean that we can make this world 100 % better - but it will help!
